This Site Profile aims to promote the Southeast Asian (SEA) peat site network, to highlight the importance of the nominated sites in the region, to increase the awareness of the public and peatland managers regarding existing peat sites, and to help promote peatland areas with best management practices and encourage information exchange among peatland managers; with the ultimate goal of achieving sustainable management of peatlands of Southeast Asia.
